While reading the latest issue of i-D magazine, I found myself being given subtle messages in forms of wisdom. I'm not the one for New Year resolutions as we all know by the time the Christmas period is over and we're back to reality; the willpower and determination to keep to that "must go to the gym every week" or "stay away from the chocolate cake" resolutions, always seem to fall through. Yet i-D has changed my outlook on our New Year resolutions and instead given the reader little life lessons to guide yourself through-out 2013 to gain a much more positive, fun-filled and brighter year. And what's better than that? I can take this ideology on board as well as have my cake!
"a little good advice goes a very long way.."
THINK, ACT & SPEAK LIKE A GENTLEMAN // LOOSEN UP AND RELAX // IF OPPORTUNITY DOESN'T KNOCK, BUILD A DOOR // SOME PEOPLE WILL STARE, MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE // BE HAPPY, BE BE BRIGHT, BE YOU // ALWAYS GIVE A LITTLE MORE THAN YOU PROMISE // GO TO SLEEP, THINGS WILL BE OK IN THE MORNING // DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM // BREAK THE RULES, STAND APART, IGNORE YOUR HEAD & FOLLOW YOUR HEART // NEVER FORGET TO HAVE A GOOD TIME // DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE // CREATE YOUR OWN WORLD // LIFE ISN'T ABOUT FINDING YOURSELF, IT'S ABOUT CREATING YOURSELF
