Pre-Spring 2015 is in the air as we get little bits of what the designers are thinking behind the brands we love. Those ideas they want to explore and test the waters before hitting big on the full ready to wear collection. Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos behind the label; Peter Pilotto demonstrate that idea exactly. The partners behind the brand made quite clear the importance of these pre-collections are to them while interviewed for the last Pre-Spring collection. For myself, this Pre-Spring collection was nothing ordinary and not particularly another lookbook to scan through on Style.com. This was a collection that I actually worked on. For the past two months, I have been interning at Peter Pilotto and worked closely with the development of this collection to the final pieces that shaped these concluding looks. It's amazing to see how quickly the turnover of a collection makes in little time. To think of all those hours put in, the last minute decisions made and with that, the collection is complete and done, ready to photograph then send off to New York. And to think, these 23 photographs of the Pre-Spring 2015 lookbook doesn't even begin to tell the story of the full collection that was worked on behind the doors of Peter Pilotto. I will never again mumble the words when scanning through lookbooks; "is
