Jonny Johansson heavy layering of reworked key essential pieces for winter in forms of extreme proportions have been circulating my mind ever since the snow fell down in London town. Which I hope it is here to stay for a little bit longer. It's always nice when there is a reason for it to be so cold when snow is here to make up for it. The Swedish playwright and painter, August Strindberg takes a great role for the creative director of Acne Studios pre-Fall collection which Johansson takes these harsh and gloomy winter landscapes and reinterprets the typical rugged Swedish outwear into exaggerated volumes and proportions but equally as feminine and beautiful.
