Only a 20 minute walk
from where I live, stalls line up every Sunday to sell flowers and plants to gardeners,
tourists and the people of London. Or for us, students in attempt to make their
student dorm rooms more visually appealing! Since moving to London, I hadn’t visited
the famous street until today and I couldn’t have went on a better day as signs
of sunny spring began to show. Many of the market traders on Columbia Road have
been providing Londoners beautiful flowers for over 40 years and with a diverse
range of shops in Victoria style buildings that complement the area; it wasn’t
long till I fell in love. Columbia Road flower market is on every
Sunday from 8am to 3pm, “come rain, wind or shine.” See more details of the
